Our DESIGN PHILOSOPHY is focused on 2 objectives:

  • Increase cash flow by integrating the billing with the clinical so that as soon as the report is signed out, the CSM 1500 can be submitted electronically for processing.

WebPathLab is the first truly internet-based, clinical and billing (full integration) solution for anatomic pathology laboratories.  We have taken the power and functionality of the internet (the ability to quickly transfer information securely from any place to another) and built upon proven business practices of pathology labs. The result is a solution that is efficient (very fast), reliable, secure, and easy to learn.

As an Internet Based System, WebPathLab has many inherent advantages:

  • Universal and Unlimited Access - You and your staff can access the solution (with proper authentication) from any PC with internet access.  This streamlines the process significantly allowing for the transcriptioninst to begin work almost immediately after the Pathologist finished the clinical work, and for the pathologist to sign out the case from a different location or even from home.
  • Improved Customer Satisfaction - Your customer can not only access his/her cases on-line, fill out requisition forms on -line but also data mine their reports on-line.
  • Security - The system has multiple levels of access to keep data secure. The server is located at a Data Center (a building built to house servers) with diesel power back up generators, redundant access to the backbone of the internet, redundant security access (behind several closed doors), etc.
  • Reliability - The dedicated server runs only one solution, WebPathLab and so it is very robust and reliable.  The data is back-up every night and it has 60 days of rolling back ups.
  • Integrated Billing - As soon as the report is signed out, the bill and/or insurance form (CMS 1500 converted to ANSI 835) is uploaded electornically for processing.
